영국에서는 이래도 되나?

BBC Learning English에서 갓 나온 꼭지를 듣다가 오밤중에 그만 웃어버리고 말았다. 실의에 빠져있는 상대방에게 긍정적인 다른 측면을 부각시킴으로써 위로해주는 방법, 그럴때 요긴한 몇 가지 표현을 가르쳐주고 있는데, 그 중 첫번째와 두번째 예시가 매우 부적절하다.

At least...	My flatmate, Sue, is always borrowing my CDs and she only gives them back when I go and ask her for them! Well, at least she returns them to you.
But...	My mum always calls me in the evenings when I'm trying to study. Yeah, but she does call you! My family never call me. I have to call them!
